I enjoyed The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society beyond measure when our little book group read it and even more so enjoyed this posting. Your pictures and travelogue about Guernsey are wonderful and bring to life the book as well. PBS - channel 11 (I'm from the Chicago area as well) aired a wonderful short series a few years back. I think it was called Island at War and was about a group of people on one of the islands during WWII. Well done, as these things usually are, and my first knowledge of the Channel Islands and the war. The book was a good read and your blog and trip so wonderful. Thank you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-344686725085633316.post-49602237727900213062010-09-05T22:41:13.097-05:002010-09-05T22:41:13.097-05:00Your post was descriptive and made me want to go.Your post was descriptive and made me want to go.leekrekhttp://leekre.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-344686725085633316.post-30347632862729684372010-09-05T19:31:13.636-05:002010-09-05T19:31:13.636-05:00Having read the book it was fun seeing you travel ...Having read the book it was fun seeing you travel photos.Kate Robertsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08369818854597534304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-344686725085633316.post-43609109692190447312010-09-05T10:42:04.955-05:002010-09-05T10:42:04.955-05:00I'm enjoying reading your travel posts!
